The hype for “The Legend of Maula Jatt” has been rising for more than ten years, and now that the official trailer has been released, the curiosity has reached an all-time high.
Strong dialogue that only Nasir Adeeb could deliver is combined with broad images of villages, havelis, and palaces as only Bilal Lashari could portray them.
The trailer opens off with a mother moaning that she gave birth to a beast instead of a son who intends to destroy everything.
The legendary characters are then unveiled one by one. In contrast to Mahira Khan, who plays his love interest Mukkho Jatti, we see Fawad Khan emerging from the ashes as Maula Jatt. As Noori Natt, the old enemy of Jatt, Hamza Ali Abbasi enters in all-black. While Humaima Malik, who plays Daro, also appears.
The cast includes Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Gohar Rasheed, Shafqat Cheema, Nayyer Ejaz, Ali Azmat, Resham, and Babar Ali.
Produced by Ammara Hikmat under the joint venture of Encyclomedia and Lashari films, the movie is all set to release on October 13, 2022.
