In the most recent episode of Nescafe Basement, the producer Xulfi revitalized the super-hit song, Aadat. This new version of Aadat marked the composer of the original song, Goher Mumtaz.
Here’s what Gohar posted on his Instagram account:
Back in 2003, it was a trending song among youngsters. Nescafe Basement’s version was something which took us to another world and stimulated so many memories connected with the song. I think Xulfi made an audacious decision to produce an instrumental version of Aadat. Overall, 12 different instruments have been used to create this piece of music. The song starts with the acoustic guitar which gives a feeling of being awake from a bottomless nap. It directly touches the soul and you feel being lost with the song. Six minutes into the song, Goher Mumtaz enters with the song Bhanwaray. It is undeniably a reflective moment for Jal fans.
Listen to the song!
The recreation of Aadat is evidence that discovering a new sphere and experimenting can turn into something great. Xulfi has not just twisted the instrumental version of Aadat but improved the song for the fans. Let’s wait for the next episode of Nescafe Basement. Stay tuned with us for more details!
