In a recent interview, Saba Qamar expressed her desire to be in the biopic of politician Maryam Nawaz and late Benazir Bhutto. She believes she is capable of executing such characters since politicians are similar to actresses.
During the interview, the Cheenkh star said:
I want to portray a politician on television. Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto is a subject worthy of a biopic, in my opinion and Maryam Nawaz Sharif is also an option for me to play on the big screen.
Moreover, she added:
It is exciting for me to play a politician because their lives have so many levels. Their personalities change while they are in public, at home with their families or with their classmates. They are all unique individuals. It’s quite intriguing. Politicians, like performers have their share of pitfalls. As a result of this, I believe it’s relatable.
We recently saw her in Ghabrana Nahi Hai movie as a lead actress and no doubt she did justice to the character.
