On Wednesday, the local administration registered a case against superstar Fawad Khan after his family refused to administer an anti-polio team from giving drops to his children.
The case has been filed at the Faisal Town police station and the administration has booked six people, together with Fawad Khan, over the charge. Four of the cases have been filed at the Faisal Town police station, and two at the Model Town police station.
Shortly after the incident, Babar Atta tweeted:
As per DC Lahore, teams wanted to immunise Fawad's daughter since yesterday. 1st his driver misbehaved with teams followed by his family. Mr. Fawad is our pride, I request him to allow teams to vaccinate the child. Lahore has had a polio case last week, we must protect the child. https://t.co/0L30OfLbMd

One user asked why Fawad had refused the drops for his daughter to which the focal person offered some details.
Its a parent's right to ask questions on polio vaccine & our duty to respond, but none has the right to scold our teams while they are performing their duties. As per DC Lahore They tried for 2 days to convince the family. https://t.co/30kQoX6dvp
