Great applause to writer Khalil ur Rehman for penning down this beautiful storyline for drama serial ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’. Brought to screens with Nadeem Baig’s direction along with sparkling performances by Humayun Saeed, Ayeza Khan and Adnan Siddiqui have kept the audience hooked with each episode.
The recent episode was somehow very emotional for the viewers and Humayun did it very well. From dialogues to acting and facial expressions, we were hooked up.

According to Humayun Saeed, he chose the character of Danish because he wanted to move out of his comfort zone. He said that he had an idea that people would like ‘Meray Paas Tum Ho’ because he felt the same anxiety that people experienced after watching the play.
The originality of the script makes the viewers feel they are a part of the story of Danish and Mehwish and are seeing them in real life. The conflict and layers of characters are the strength of Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar’s writing.
Also, in accordance with Humayun, people are used to watching the melancholy of a woman and therefore ‘Meray Paas Tum Ho’ is infuriating for the people who want a misogynist man.
